I don’t have any suggestions, but I’d love to hear if anyone else does.  I have yet to find a strapless bras that I really like!

I got one from Kohl’s. I can’t remember for the life of me what brand it is. I’m a little on the busty side (eek, 36DD) so I can tell you this is not heavily padded, but you also can’t show through. It offers good support (I really need it! you look awful not wearing a bra when you’re my size) but is smooth and not weird-looking like some straplesses are. It might just be a real basic maidenform. I got it for $25 I think. Kohl’s has lots of great ones. Not that I don’t love me some victoria secret, but sometimes you don’t want the plunge push up

Have you considered a bustier or corset style to lift? They have some with individual cups that are made not to push you together. And they definitely lift!

Good call on the bustier. At least being a C you have more choices and options. I definitely would go with something that has straps…those stick ons will make you a little saggy and make it look like you have no bra on. Not pretty. Ok here’s the one I got: I don’t know why it’s listed as a "minimizer" because it doesn’t really do that…but I get a nice, natural shape with it and it doesn’t make the girls look weird. It has extra spandex on the back part to help hold it up so it doesn’t slip.

I’m sure you can get it other places, but seriously… I used this bra with my dress and it has amazing support without padding. It’s a bit more expensive, but SOOO worth it.
