Geekchick42 :  Get the convertible bra from Torrid. The straps come off. BEST BRA EVER! And you can reuse it after the wedding, cause they are not cheap… The got some in white, ivory and nude.

I literraly could not ever trust any strapless bra to keep my boobs up and not slip down until I bought a bra from Torrid.

Geekchick42 :  You can also get a double sided tape made for skin to fabric and place it in key areas. I did that and the bra didnt budge even a tiny bit gor over 12 hours.

For my strapless dress, I went to a very well-regarded, upscale lingerie shop in my city for help.  I had to make an appointment.  The saleswoman there was invaluable and helped me find a high quality bra in the RIGHT SIZE (my correct size is hard to find in stores so I usually make do with something close enough).  Most of the support of any bra is in the band, so if you have a well-made bra in the right size, it *should* hold you in place even while strapless.  It was expensive but worth it (and something I can use again, unlike the wedding dress lol).

It also depends a bit on your dress.  Mine was heavy satin and structured through the bodice.  It had boning and I had my seamstress fit it TIGHT through my torso and waist.  There was honestly no room for the bra to slip down, even if it had wanted to.
