I am not plus sized, but this is what I am wearing.  I am having a very informal wedding, and this is perfect.  I really don’t like strapless and this covers me,.  It comes in plus, and some plus sized girls have posted pics in the comments.  It looks great on a plus.  You are right.  It is hard to find longer sleeves.

I”m not exactly plus sized but I am adding sleeves to my dress because I’m very self conscious about my arms/boobs. I’m only a size 8. I have NEVER in my life worn strapless and I’m certainly not about to start on my wedding day. I would feel so awkward. My dress comes in May so I’m waiting until my first fitting to decide what kind of sleeves I want, but I’m leaning towards an illusion neckline.

Winter gowns should be out right now– I know David’s has a few options.

But really, maybe reconsider the bolero or jacket?  They aren’t all as disjointed as you might think.  Mine looked like it was made to match the dress, and they were from completely different places!

This might sound weird but maybe look around some muslim wedding forums – brides who wear a hijab need to be covered but they still want to look pretty! 🙂

I found something for you as well, I hope it helps:http://www.chatfieldsboutique.com/gallery5.htm
