My dress is strapless and I don’t wear them often because of the girls but my wedding dress actually made them look AWESOME.. 🙂

I don’t wear strapless most of the time. I got a strapless dress for the wedding though because it was 85% of what was in the stores. I added straps to it. I loved it.

I have never worn anything strapless in my life – my boobs are too big for it!  But the strapless dresses looked so nice on me and they keep everything in place!

Usually whenever I wear strapless tops or dresses I wear a bolero or jacket over it. i have a small bust and halter necks and off the shoulders often make me look flatter and skinnier. I was very worried about the dress staying up but the velcro strips made a huge difference and the dress stayed put!

I wear strapless bra’s more. I hate bra lines so during the summer I will wear a strapless bra with my sundresses and the like. But my wedding dress is the first strapless pieces of clothing I own!

My wedding dress was strapless but I don’t wear strapless dresses very often. I have 2 strapless summer dresses but I almost always wear a small sweater or jacket or something with them and I’ve probably worn them 3 times this whole summer.

in the summer i wear a lot of strapless clothing -from dresses to tops to bathingsuits, but as im getting older i find myself leaning more towards straps and higher necklines…there is just something so chic about a nice fitted dress with sleeves.

though i think i will always do strapless bathing suits, i hate strap tan lines…

It’s been around too long and is too ubiquitous to be a “fad”.  I doubt that in twenty years the cut will be extinct.  But EVERYONE having strapless will probably be a time stamp of the era.  Just like sleeves are not uniquely an 80’s creation, but everyone does associate diamond white satin dresses with puffy sleeves with that era.

I know that here a lot of girls’ moms wore those, but I can remember looking at them in awe the same way we look at the latest and greatest today.  It’s a good thing, IMO, to be “on trend” at the time of your wedding.  FWIW, we all wore puffy sleeves for a solid decade or more too.  As a kid, I never imagined wearing any other type of sleeve.  I thought the 70’s had the ugliest styles ever.  Bell bottoms/boot cuts were our version of the puffy sleeve.  We thought they were comically hideous.  Of course, we’ve pretty much all ended up buying them, seeing them get replaced on the shelves by skinny jeans, and then hit the shelves again.  Like Heidi says…One day you’re in…

I NEVER see truly “timeless” wedding dresses.  The ones that people think are timeless are just taken from times that are more appreciated/trendy at the moment.  15-20 years ago is almost always long enough ago to look dated, but not long enough to be vintage.  Just wait…your daughters will hate your dress and want to wear granny’s puffy sleeve 80’s style.  LOL.

FWIW, I didn’t have a strapless wedding dress, but I did wear a strapless cocktail dress to my rehearsal.

My dress is strapless, and yes I do wear strapless tops or dresses every now and then. My arms are a little chunkified so I need to work out my arms.

Sometimes I wish I had cap sleeves so I wouldn’t have to do pushups! lol

I went dress shopping positive I didnt want a strapless dress. . . and then I purchased a strapless dress with every intention of adding sleeves.  And now I just had my first fitting and I couldnt really picture her with straps. . .

I was a little nervous about it because I almost never wear strapless and I hate to see people tugging up on their clothes all the time.  But it feels like it fits so well =)  hopefully it isnt a problem!!!

I don’t ever wear strapless anything as I don’t like the feeling of a strapless bra. That being said my wedding dress is strapless with a corset, which makes a huge difference. I feel secure and sucked in without any “popping out” issues.
