I was googling for pictures of my dress (as we do! lol) & i came across a pic where someone has added straps & i think i’d really like to get mine changed too.
Wedding isnt for a few months & dress hasnt even arrived yet so i def have time but does anyone have any suggetstions where i could get the “lacey” material? I cant cotact the supplier directly & am waiting to hear from the store.
Do u think i should add straps?

OOOooooOOOO. I love the straps! Maybe you can make it to where you can take them off or on as you’d like. Maybe wear them during the ceremony and take off for the reception.

Hmm….the detail on the straps is just beautiful! It’d be easier to see you in the dress with straps, but I think you’d look great either way.

Definitely add the straps! Your dress is stunning and even more so with the straps.

I believe this dress comes with the straps detached. I tried it on and had the lace straps attached in a plastic bag. I wanted straps and didn’t try on anything that didn’t have them.

I agree most dresses do come with optional straps. My experience with detachable straps is that they suck! lol they never stay in place and keep slipping. So if you do want to wear the straps all day perhaps your alterations person could put a stitch in it to keep it in place?

Are the straps the “lacey” ones or are they just like plain spagetthi straps?

im not a big fan of the straps

I loooove the straps. But I would only go with the lacy type you posted…don’t just do plain spaghetti straps. I might be biased though because those lacy straps look a lot like the ones on my dress 🙂

I usually am a fan of the strapless if the neckline is pretty but the straps are stunning!! I love them do it!! They have so much detail. Just beautiful.

I am in the same boat as you , except I havent ordered the dress yet but I love all the styles of the strapless dresses so I would love to add straps like those ones you posted and then for the reception like @crystalirene mentioned you could take them off.. On for ceremony off for reception… Dont know how to do that but I am going to look into it.

I love them! But then again, I’m finding more and more that I like an interesting neckline rather than strapless. EVERYONE has strapless, it seems. Doooo itt! They’re beautiful!

Yes, add the straps! They’re so pretty.

Thank u sooo much bees!!! I really like my dress & i like it more than any others i tried but i just hadnt had “The feeling” & i was a bit worried. I came across this pic of the straps & suddenly got really excited about my dress!
Im tall & have a long back so i sometimes feel if i wear strapless my neck & chest looks too bare unless i wear v chunky jewellery which i didnt want for my wedding.
i just have to try & work out how to get the “lacey” material to get the straps made. i know some of the other posters said ot came with straps but my supplier doesnt seem to agree. ive emailed other suppliers & im waiting to hear back.
ooooo im so excited now! thanks bees!
