@MrsSanchizel:  I love it with the straps and that little bit of illusion on your back is gorgeous.

Good lord. I just got a wedding-dress boner over that dress. I couldn’t possibly say which looks better as they both look ethereal and BEAUTIFUL!

This might sounds crazy but…if they’re easily detachable, why don’t you wear straps for the cremony, then remove them?!

I think the dress looks amazing without straps!

I really thought I would vote strapless, but when I saw the pics – definitely with the straps. It makes the gown a bit more glamorous, and a bit more unique too. Plus, I think I’m thrown by the strapless version because it looks like it should have straps – the corners of the sweetheart look a bit too pointy without the straps, if that makes sense!

    Beautiful dress!

Strapless is a pain in the balls. Even with a great seemstress. And with straps as beautiful as those, why wouldn’t you go for it? They don’t look “tacked on” at ALL. They are part of the dress and they are beautiful. You will be SO much more comfortable all night not pulling your dress up. (Which you will be in strapless. No matter who tells you that you won’t be.)

Also, the illusion back won’t work without the straps, and it would be a CRIME to destroy that back.

Those are gorgeous, unique straps! Strapless is so overdone these days … and I agree that the pointiness of the bodice looks a little bit off when the straps are removed. But, as another PP suggested, you can always wear the straps for the ceremony and then take them off if you want to switch things up.

I say YES YES YES to the straps. It gives the little flourish on the neckline more purpose instead of looking randomly placed there. Beautiful either way, but really stunning with the straps.
