GemTack has worked great for me. Some girls use E600 and that seems to work well too. I decided to go with the GemTack becase it emits less fumes.

Edit: Are you using glue syringes? If you aren’t I can see how it would be a mess.

I used E600 glue. Try using nail polish remover to clean up the crystals that look cloudy.

@msbeehave: It looks like the place I bought them from is not carrying them or out of stock. A quick Google search pulled up these and these. They often come with different sized tips, the bigger the tip the thicker the glue you can use with it. Michael’s or Hobby Lobby probably carries them too.

@msbeehave: I used tweezers. I put some glue on newspaper (the E600 went thru styrofoam plates), picked up a crystal with the tweezers, dipped it in the glue, and placed it on the shoe.

@trugem: That had to take forever! I’d be way too much of a klutz to do that and would probably get glue everywhere! I put a bead of glue on the shoe and then user a gemsetter thing to pick up the stone and press it on.

I apparently also fail at searching! I found the kit of syringes I used! They come with the gemsetter sticks. They have wax on one end so you pick up the gem with it and place it on the glue. The other end is just a stick so you can use it to reposition things.

@Aure: LOL No because I got into a rhythm so it went fast. I guess I have steady hands.
