I’m a size 7 and my dress is a size 6. I will have just a little bit taken in on the sides to hug me better.

I was (not now at 9.5months pregnant) as street size 2-4 and my dress was a 4.

I’m a street size six, but I’ve lost a lot of weight since my dress was ordered. At that time, I was between a 10 and 12, so I was encouraged to order a size 14.Surprised

I imagine I’ll have a lot of alterations.

I’m a size 16 or 18 depending on the clothing brand. I tried on a size 18 sample and it fit like a glove so I ordered an 18. I’m losing weight but my dress has a corset lace in the back. I’m hoping if it gets roomy I can just tie her up tighter.

My sister is my only bridesmaid and the consultant encouraged her to try on dresses 2 sizes up. She’s a size 10/12 and they gave her 14/16 to try on. Needless to say, they were falling off her. I just don’t get that rule. It didn’t seem to apply for Davids Bridal Designs.

Street size 10.  Wedding dress 14.  The “girls” make me  top heavy, so if the material doesn’t stretch I always need a much bigger size!  Here’s a pic.

I wear normal dresses in the XS/0 – S/2 range, and when I was measured for my dress my bust and hips fit size 0 and 2 respectively.  My waist was a size 8.  Stupid waist!  Ha.

@Katnisseverdeen:  I am a street size 6.  I’m in 6 in David’s Bridal, 6 in an Allure, but an 8 in Casablanca.  Neither of the gowns had to be taken in for me.  I am an A cup.
