Ok ladies I did a big goof with the RSVP cards I forgot to put the entree selection on them and the country club requires it ! The other hang up is the RSVP cards are post cards so no envelopes 🙁 help me I’m one stressed out bride.

Why can’t you do that with the invites?

What about adding an extra insert?

Set up a website or email and tell them to pick a meal, or offer to let them text you or something. They’re options don’t have to be mailed.

@Manna87: How many people are you inviting? if it’s just a few, just phone them… if it’s a lot I second the ideas of pps (website, aditional insert…)

I would say reorder them. Honestly, you cant add an insert because they are postcards so there are no way to send the insert back. Unless you are comfortable asking them to WRITE their selections on the postcard via the inserts. That would be an option.Like the inserts can list the options and give directions for adding them on to the postcard.
Personally, I think that makes it more complicated for the guests (who dont always follow instructions) and it makes your error of forgetting the entree selections more obvious. But that is still an option if you do not want to absorb the cost of more RSVP’s.
Setting up a website could also work… but again, people dont always follow instructions and that will inevitably end up with more stress for you. You would have to find a function that reserves each meal to a person. That’s quite a bit of stress.. but you could also use inserts to pass that info along if you are looking to go that route.
I am all about ease on the guests though. And I think the easiest way for them would be to re-order the cards. Maybe you can talk to your invitation vendor and tell them you made a mistake and ask if there is anyway to have them reprinted? You could also go to michael or hobby lobby and make your own RSVP card (may not be like the ones you ordered) but it’s definately a way to rectify the situation at a smaller cost.

Thank you ladies. I thought about putting a insert in the envelope and writing sometimg funny like “if you know us you know we forgot to ask what your eating ” idk lol or I thought of getting stamps and just stamping the post cards of there entree choice. It’s a small wedding of 30 and everyone is practically a couple or family. I could call them. What do you think? I don’t want to pay for more RSVP cards.
