I have been relatively calm and collected throughout the whole process, but with my wedding 3 weeks away, I am having mini meltdowns and anxiety attacks.
The top few stressful things:
1. looked at the pictures that my dad took during my dress fitting – I looked fat! Then I REALLY regretted not working out harder, eating less, things that I vowed to do 1 year ago and now it is too late to make miracles happen…just feel like crying as I type this.
2. fiance very busy at work, flying out of town every week… I took up more tasks to help him out, but it sort of strains our relationship
3. feeling unhappy about the fact that i’m not enjoying this planning process as much as I wanted. I thought this should be one of the happiest times of my life!
I guess there isn’t much I can do about my weight, his work, but I can change #3 – my attitude. I will try hard to be more positive.
Thanks for listening (reading).

3 weeks is not far but if you want to lose some weight you have time im sure you dont look bad its a female thing to think you look “fat” even women who are a size 0. Stress gets the best of all of us while planning a wedding but it will pass : )

Aw, it’ll be ok! Try to think positive. And I’m sure you look so beautiful, but the stress is probably getting to you and you’re being hard on yourself. So let that go! You have all this stuff to do and thinking negative about yourself will only make the last 3 weeks harder. Good Luck!

thanks girls. i will try to stay positive
@ sep queen – you are right, 3 weeks is still a lot of time to lose weight! i am just frustrated that my arms got “fatter” after doing weights (and I tried to stay with the very light ones!) and ditto my back! Now I am not sure if I should continue to do weights to tone them (arms are still jiggly) or stop lifting weights. i am just afraid losing weight per se will not help w the specific problem i have.

*hug!* just think, in three short weeks you will be sitting next to your husband eating cake and dancing around celebrating your marriage and of course all of your hard work!

*hugs!* I know it’s hard to have your Fiance out of town (mine’s been on a work trip for 3 weeks now) and it must be especially hard so close to the wedding! If your arms got bigger it’s just b/c they’re are more toned under there! I’d keep with the weights and do some cardio. I know even though it’s not always noticeible, I feel more toned if i”m working out. (… but this might just be crazy me!) Good luck!

(((hugs))) I’m SURE everything will work out great! Just remember, the little details that are important to you now aren’t as important as the main reason for the day! As long as you’re married and happy at the end of the day, nothing else really matters. There has never been a “perfect” wedding day, when you think back about the minor details that didn’t work out the way you wanted just remember that nobody else knows what it was supposed to be like, so they’ll be impressed no matter what! 🙂
