Bunting is pretty inexpensive to make, especially if you use paper, not cloth.

You could get tealights, put glue on the outside, then roll them in pink glitter.  So cute!

Also, depending on where you live, you can get flowers for cheap at a local district, the farmer’s market, or even Trader Joes.  Or you can order from a site like Fifty Flowers.

Have you considered tall vases with water and submerging a single flower (fake or real) then adding a floating candle? You can even color the water if you like, of add colored sand or stones to the bottom.

Buy a sample dress, get a free creemony site like a public beach or pretty park. Look for brides selling used decor in bulk (like here in the wb classifieds). Buy youR wedding bands online instead of in store = huge savings, especially if we’re talking gold and diamonds. DIY your own hair, makeup, nails & centerpieces/decor. Skip the wedding planner/day-of coordinator. If you’re serving a meal, look into cheaper dishes that can be made delicious (like chicken). Get your cake from a grcoery store (they’re just as pretty honestly- DITTO for the flowers). Enlist any ‘friendors’ you have available to you (we used a friend photog for crazy cheap). Do an Ipod instead of a DJ & have someone overlook it. Have the reception in a friends backyard or a backyard BBQ altogether. Look on Craigslist & Ebay for everthing. Think simple. Good luck!

I agree with the submerged flowers. It’s easy and economical. Vases are super cheap from Dollar Tree, that’s where we got all of ours for our cocktail hour. 🙂 You can always get hot pink Floralytes to light the water as well. 🙂

You could also do tissue paper flowers/pomanders
