My wedding is less than two months away and I am stressing over what to buy for the parents (bride’s and groom’s) and my Maid/Matron of Honor.
My sister is my Maid/Matron of Honor and she got married last year, so I don’t want to copy what she got me- I would feel like I didn’t put thought into it. I am getting matching jewelry for my bridesmaids as part of their gift, so that is out. She has helped with the planning and organizing and most of all keeping me calm, so I want to thank her in a special way but am not sure how.
As for my parents, I believe that my sister gave them a picture frame that she wrote on and decorated, so again, I don’t want to do the same thing. That would be fine for the Future In-Laws as they aren’t paying for anything related to the wedding, but my parents are putting a lot of effort and money into helping us.
Married bees- what, if anything, did you gift to the parents and ILs, and the MOH? I would love to hear any tips or ideas!

I’m going to get my parents a gift certificate to a good restaurant in the town where they live. I didn’t have a bridal party, so can’t help there!

Mrsdal920: That is sooo hard! I am also having a hard time figuring it out, too …
Maid/Matron of Honor I am giving a nice leather messenger bag with a leather monogrammed travel case.
I was thinking maybe gift certificates to the spa, lockets for the mothers and a pair of cufflinks for my dad? Still not quite sure lol.

My sister is my Maid/Matron of Honor and I’m not sure yet what to get her. I’m going to get my parents a canvas with a photo of me, my fiance, and them at our wedding with a quote over top of the picture. I haven’t decided yet on the quote. I hope it will be special and I also have an Etsy shop selling these canvases, so I think they will love that I made it myself. I might do something similar for my sister, but not sure yet.

for parents- a copy of the pro photo album? (those can be very pricey and parents love that type of thing)
for your sister- separate jewelry she’d like, a purse, maybe an extra night at the hotel for her & her husband? a couple’s massage?

EDIT: Whoops, I totally read that wrong. 2 months. Still, there’s time. My Darling Husband bought his groomsmen gifts the day before the wedding. 🙂
We didn’t give parents gifts. On second thought, I bought those custom hangers with names on them for my BMs and included the moms in that. My Mother-In-Law loved getting a hanger with “Mom” on it. But that was a silly gift. The BMs’ real gift was Origami Owl pendants on Tiffany & Co. chains.
