We were supposed to have a fall wedding. Thanks to US imigration it will prob be in Jan.
Originally I was sold on yellows and browns…Can i do those in Jan?
Im now thinking navy/marine blue and silver..BUT im thinking that will increase the formal look of the wedding..We are doing a mid am wedding and bruncheon..
Help its driving me nuts

Though I think blue and silver have a more January/wintery feel, there’s no reason your colors have to coordinate with the season, especially if you were really sold on the yellow and brown coloring.
Because navy/marine blue does strike me more as an evening color…have you considered having a lighter shade of blue, more of a pastel or baby blue? It would still compliment the silver well, and may have more of a brunch/mid-am feel.
Ultimately though, I feel like you and your fiance are going to be the ones who notice the colors more than anyone. And I think everyone’s focus will be on the nice time they’re having. So, don’t worry about it more than you need to. I’d say pick colors that you both enjoy and feel good about. And I think that’ll be fine. 🙂

You can make yellow and brown work- blue and silver does seem more wintery, but I don’t think it’s an issue to go ahead with yellow and brown…
