Does anyone have string lights I can purchase or do you know of a good resource to purchase them from? They seem to be so expensive and we would love them to cover the ceiling of our venue.

Check Target. I’ve seen them have sales where it’s like $10 a string. They’re beautiful, too!

I just bought like 8 freaking strings of these lights from Target.
Unfortunately they weren’t on sale yet, so they were $12.99 a box for 24 lights with 25 ft of string.
But, they are gorgeous. I hope that they will hold up, some of the reviews for them on Target.com were not so hot. :/
You might have to check in store though…. I know they were out of stock online when I checked.

I was wondering if after your wedding, you might be willing to sell your lights? I am looking for them at Target, but they are all out of stock!
Thank you so much!

We have twelve strands of 25′ bulb lights that we just used for our outdoor wedding. They are not in their original packaging but are carefully wrapped in a big box. All strands work, and there are 5 missing bulbs total. (You cannot notice that any are out when they are all hung!) They are great for any outdoor events, backyards, barns, etc. They provide a beautiful atmosphere.
This was the original link we got them from: http://www.lightsforalloccasions.com/p-1083-25-clear-globe-string-lights-outdoor-plug-in-g40-bulbs-green-wire.aspx
Original price was $304 plus shipping. We are asking $220, pick up only. We are in Brooklyn, NY.
If you are looking for other wedding decor items, we have:
4 strands of white christmas lights: $10 for all 4
Gold Foil 12inch round Doilies: 4 packages of 6 count: $20 for all
Brown Extension cords: (great for hanging those globe lights!): 14 strands of various lengths (6ft-15ft): $30 for all
LED Tealights: 3 24 packs, 20 loose (gently used): originally $19.99 per pack, will sell all of them for $30
2 inch cream colored candles: 2 boxes of 36 plus extra: $15 for all
143 Clear Glass Votive Holders (they were used at our wedding, will also include approx 20 miscellaneous glass votive holders collected for the event): $60
Table Numbers Made from Metal Rose Garden Labels (http://everlastlabel.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5): 1-24 painted in black numbers, will include the extras: $20
Everything comes from a clean, caring home!

@awengloj: Hello! i’m on the hunt for globe lights, and I live in Brooklyn…but. I see I can get 12 strands of the Target version for about $156, free shipping, with tax. What’s the difference between your brand and these? I’d be happy to take them off your hands for $135, but that’s a lot less than what you paid…
