I agree with your Bridesmaid or Best Man that the thick ones look like jail house stripes lol. I voted thin.

I personally prefer the bold look of the thick stripes…but curious to know what the rest of the invite will look like.  Hard to pick without being able to imagine the final product!

Lovely invites!  I’d say go with the thin stripes since the invites are more delicate/elegant than bold.  I see the thick stripes with a bolder design maybe with some other pops of color.  I think the thin stripes fit better in this case.  But that’s just my personal opinion…they are your invites! Make them the way you want to make them! :]

MissCoupon: I like both the wider stripe is trying to make somewhat of a bold statement whereas the thinner stripe looks more fun and laid back. If that makes sense.

We used the exact same invites for our wedding! We used a gold foil liner (also from minted) that matched the gold on the invite. Did you consider that as an option or are you set on the stripes? For the stripes, I prefer the wide.

Definitely the thin ones! Love the gold “&” accent!

MissCoupon:  if you’re having a hard time deciding, do both, especially if the materials will cost the smae ๐Ÿ™‚

I voted skip them. As a guest, I can honestly say I would probably over look it. It would wind up in the trash right away. I do think it is a cure idea though. I found with my wedding, invites took way longer than I had hoped and if I would have done something like that itwould’ve only added to the annoyance of my invites.

I like them both! I say make both and send the thin ones to those you know like them, and then just mix it up for everyone else. I’m an envelope liner obsessive, so I’m all for it! It makes such a great impact and sets the tone for the whole event.

I like the thin ones! Do you have to make the envelope liner extend all the way to the bottom? You probably could get away with just past where they show in your photo, that may help to get two on a page.
