I know several guys (same friend group) who hired strippers to come out to their rented house to perform for them for their bachelor parties, so yes. I also know a lot of men and women who go to strip clubs for their bachelor/bachelorette party, pretty normal. The private strippers, not as normal but yes I know some that have done this.

Do you mean go to a strip club or hiring a private stripper?

Pretty sure most of fiance’s friends have gone to strip clubs for their bachelor party and several of my female friends’ husbands and friends of friends.

Pretty sure fiancé also attended a bachelor party previously where the best man hired a private stripper and he described it as being awkward cos it was like a bunch of them sitting around watching while the stripper teased the groom and did stuff with her vagina I think, the groom may have also had a hard on lol… fiancé was like  yea that was super awkward lol…

I have been to a single bachelorette party that ended up in a strip club. It started with pedicures, no one planned it that way. It was real awkward for those of us who were not old enough to be wasted.

Also I told my then-bf-now-fi about it and he told me his friend worked at the club we went to. He showed me a picture of him, and yeah my cousin grabbed his friend’s ass like five times that night.  Yay small towns…

    Idk about dudes.

CanMurph :  in Australia its pretty normal to have a bachelor party at someone’s house where topless waitresses and a stripper is hired. Usually uncles, FFILs, dads, FBILs, cousins, work colleagues, your boss are invited and in attendance too. From every account I’ve heard, the stripper is more about embarrassing the groom as opposed to something more sexual. I’ve heard of worse stuff on here with strip clubs and private lap dances in private rooms.

Herein Australia, the stripper will give the groom a lap dance in front of everyone attending so its pretty tame. The info I’ve heard from guys including my brother who has no reason to lie to me says they are pretty tame. He’s never been to one where people have had private lap dances or slept with any of the topless waitresses. He said that he spends most of his time trying not to stare at the boobs because he feels uncomfortable 😀

My hubby had lamb on the spit and no strippers with his family and friends. He’s not into that stuff. I honestly wouldn’t of cared if he did have a regular Bach with the stripper and topless waitresses…

As far as I know the only person I’ve know who went to a strip club was a guy I went to school with. But I don’t know that I would be told about male family members going to a strip club.

I know of three  bachelor parties where private strippers were hired. They all ended up with someone having some kind of sexual encounter with the stripper but it was never the groom, just one of the attendees.

Also know of a private stripper being hired for a bachelorette party, but no one did anything with him and it was a little awkward for those attending.

cmsgirl :  that’s what my fiancé said too, all the bachelor parties he’s been to was about embarrassing the groom (think pink tutus lol), and that’s why he doesn’t want one lol… I had to convince him it would still be nice if they just go out to a few bars and breweries (which we normally do together), just like a bar hop thing.

My best friend from college (male) had private strippers at his bachelor party, which was a surprise from his brother. My ex-H was there and told me about it after I asked. They all got lap dances. I wasn’t super psyched that there were strippers who were giving g-string and NAKED lap dances in a private setting. But I didn’t consider it cheating either. He said he didn’t know it was happening until it was happening (which I believe, the guy does not lie) and he felt super awkward about it. Which didn’t buy him much leeway from me 🙄

My husband went to a strip club for his bachelor party. Two, actually. They started off at a club owned by a famous musician but it was lame so they went to a different one halfway through the night. They got lap dances, no private back rooms or anything like that.

But we probably aren’t your typical couple.

ETA: I also know my male relatives used to go when they were younger.

cmsgirl :  another aussie bee here, can confirm your account.  Every bloke I know either had topless waitresses and a stripper either at a family property/house or air bnb.  Decent amount of guys invited, focus on embarrassing the groom.  Or they’ve gone out in the city and landed at a strip club at one point.  Girls can get fully naked but lapdances and stuff are usually viewable by at least security if not all the patrons so no paying for “extras”

My DH went to the city and  spent most of the time at a bar.  He did visit the strippers, had a lapdance on stage with the other grooms to be and had a couple of lapdances his groomsmen paid for.  Strippers dont bother me, and my girlfriend is the club manager so she kept an eye on him anyway haha.

i think it depends on where u are from and what the social norm is. i live in los angeles and my sister in law got gifted a vip table at a magic mike type of place by her older sister. all the bachlorette parties i been to had a male stripper. although you dont hear as much about a bachlor party, my husband did go to one in vegas (only a 4 hour drive) and well sin city had about everything imaginable. to me, it is very normal, but i know many woman would not stand for it. to each thier own. i personally wouldnt care, my husband sent me pics of him and stripper who gave him a lap dance, she looked nice. at the strip club they are not suppose to touch the ladies. but who knows there atre crooken places everywhere

My husband’s bachelor party was in Vegas. So yeah….they went to strip clubs. All the strip clubs. They even went to a pool party at a strip club.

A stripper is doing her job and getting paid. I would be more worried about all of the young, drunk, hot “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” girls at the clubs.

JK, I’m not worried about any of it. I trust my husband.

DH was a groomsmen in a wedding last year, but was unable to attend the bach party because of a previously scheduled work trip. He got text updates from friends though. Private stripper, she sat on the groom’s face…both of us were very happy DH had been unable to go.

Due to the nature of our wedding (it was a surprise), neither of us had pre-parties, which was what we wanted. DH knows some of his friends are raunchy/wild-cards and would hire a private stripper against his wishes, so he was happy to avoid all of that.
