I had it done at 40 weeks. Still got induced at 41 weeks, so it didn’t work for me 🙁 I was about 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced when I had it done as well.

My doctor stripped mine the day before I was due (complications).

I pulled out of the doctors office driving and had to pull the car over and let my mom take over driving. I started having back pain so I took a bath and while soaking I ate pinapple, loads of pineapple.

When I got out the tub I called a nurse line and they told me to go to the hospital. I went into labor shortly after and delivered my baby at 1:08 am the next morning, I had back labor the whole time.
