I always wanted a smaller wedding. I want to turn around on the wedding day and just see those who know and love Fiance and I as a couple. But as Fiance has a big family I knew this wasn’t going to happen.
We have just fallen in love with a new venue. But it’s quite small. In fact, we need to cut 70 people from our gust list as the ceremony room seats 78 people (some more could stand at the back, which I guess isn’t a huge issue since I’ll be at the front and it’s a short 20min ceremony).
It’s been a battle trying to get Fiance to not invite children but he has now agreed. Future Mother-In-Law is cutting her list down too but it’s not enough.
I know not everyone will be able to come. Some people we are inviting are from the Middle East so might not come/ will chose to leave children behind. Others might not come due to ill health etc. We have got the list down to 107. I’m terrified to invite 107 people to a room which seats 78.
Have any other Bees been there?? Do you have any advice??
