I’m an Ohio bride, but we’re getting married in Cincinnati. Have you asked your venue? They might have a list of preferred vendors who are used to working there.

emilymichael:  Have you asked the venue who the previous weddings have used? And By The Way Mohican is beautiful! What about some of the Amish places nearby?

There’s no way a place in Canton won’t go there!

I am an Ohio bride also. Closer to Akron though. Try looking in Mansfield or I don’t see why some place in Canton wouldn’t deliver for a small fee? I am using a woman who does cakes out of her house in South Akron area She might deliver for a fee? She is pretty inexpensive to begin with so that might be an option?

emilymichael:  If you can’t find one on your own, go back to the venue and tell them the bakery they recommended can’t do that day and ask if they have others who have delivered there in the past (they might be contractually obligated to only have ONE that they recommend, but if you ask who else has delivered there in the past, you can get around that).

try Stacy Spillane.  She did our cake and cupcakes for our wedding.  She charges a delivery fee, but her price is fair and her work is wonderful.  We loved every morsel of cake and that’s coming from someone who does not have a sweet tooth.  she has a facebook page for her business, but if you need her contact informatoon, just message me.  Good luck!
