I’m absolutely in love with my wedding dress and have been looking for shoes that match it’s vibe. I get that very few people will see my shoes, except in photos. But I love my dress so much I really want a consistent vibe.
What I love about this dress is that it’s soft, ethereal and feminine. The delicate, two tone embroidery and soft shimmer from the iridescent sequins make it for me. But I’m struggling to find the right shoes. I’d like something a bit more interesting than a standard pump or open toe heel since it’s my wedding day and a rare chance to splurge on a fun, special occasion shoe. But a lot of the popular wedding details aren’t me (big rhinestones especially). I thought I’d found my ideal shoe:
But I’m not sure I love these shoes. The sequins have a flat appearance in person and don’t catch the light and the rhinestones are more apparent than I thought they would be. And for $300+ dollars I feel like they should be perfect.
Any suggestions of shoes to go with this dress? I’ve also really started to love the idea of shoes subtly embellished with sequins like my dress and am toying with the idea of DIYing some shoes (though a little bummed to not get to buy something luxe for the day).
I also really like these shoe clips:
But I can’t see anywhere near me in the states to see them and try them on.

Habe you ever tried Melissa shoes? I know they are a bit expensive to be plastic shoes, but I love them!
For my wedding I tried this swarovsky pair, but at the end decided to go with something more colorful; however, I have the flat version of these in clear, black, and red and they shine like crazy!
For my wedding I picked the “same” model (not searovsky) but with a red heart and they were super comfortable, I love them and get to use them a lot!

I posted on your other thread, but I LOVE the idea of a bootie with your dress! If you are looking for something a little more classic maybe something like this?

The Frey Rose shoe clips are stocked in the USA. You can order them from one of the stockists and return them if you don’t like them.
It’s hard to tell the real color of your dress from your pic.
Have you checked Menbur? They are super comfortable shoes too.

I hadn’t seen those suggestions so thank you! I like the idea of those Adrianna Pappell (sp?) shoes.
It’s hard to tell in photos (though here is a close up of my swatch that makes it easier):
It’s two tone – the dress itself is a soft, pale neutral peach and then the detail work is both peach and ivory. Based on the couple of pairs of shoes I’ve tried on so far next to the swatch Ivory seems to work well though I’m also considering nude. I’d do a peach, but haven’t find many shoes in that color. And while I LOVE rose gold it doesn’t quite go based on my initial exploration.
