i am inclined to say order Christina because you have tried it on and know you love it.  and i have learned that no matter how much you love a dress on the model pic, it always looks different in person. so i personally would never order a dress without having tried it on first.

and i see why u are worried about the bottom being too “plain” at the bottom, but i think the dress is gorgeous. with the beading at the waist, it looks very elegant and in no way is the dress “plain”.

i wonder too if you could get a tailor to make some alterations to the dress, like add some pick ups. i  have heard they are pretty simple to do!

by the way, you should set up a poll, you’ll get more feedback that way!

I totally like the Christina, i think the neckline and the crystals look very nice. Personally i do not like the crossed neckline and the bustled sides on the Ingrdi’s skirt, i prefer the Christina and you look great in it!! And i think you will love it even more once it is altered and fits perfectly

I like the one you’re wearing better.  It looks great on you, and you’re right, it makes your waist look small.  I’n not a fan of pickups so I don’t care for the Ingrid.  If you think the back would look too plain maybe consider going on Etsy and getting someone to make some bling to attach to your dress.  Or if the decoration on the front of your dress is detachable, attach it to a sash with a long bow and ribbon that would tie at the back.

@crystlrox: Go for the Christina.  You look absolutely stunning in it.  It’s too big and too long for you and it still looks amazing.  I can imagine how beautiful youre going to look when it fits like a dream.  Congrats!

The Christina looks great on you! I love the detailing at the waist. I personally, don’t think the dress looks too simple since it is such an elegant and classic look.  But I think once you complete the dress with a veil, jewelry, and bustle it will look even better 🙂

I love the Christina on you! It is lovely. And I agree with others – you should not ever buy a dress without trying it on first. A dress you may think will look amazing on you can be all wrong.

I voted for the Christina too. It looks great and you, just look at that smile on your face wearing it! And I’d definitely go for something you’ve tried on.

Hey, you are the first person who I have found who has also bought the Christina dress (I’ve bought it too for my wedding in May) and can I just say I think it looks gorgeous on you!!

I saw the dress in a shop window just after I got engaged and fell in love with it and had to try it when I went dress shopping, I tried others but knew instantly that that was the one!  I like the fact that apart from the bit of sparkle under the bust the rest of the dress is quite simple, and I love the little bits of sparkle down the back, also, it made my waist look tiny haha, which is always good! xx

since you’ve tried on the Christina and love it, you should go with that, unless there’s any way to try on the Ingrid?  I think the christina dress looks georgus on you, though!

Christina was one of the first Maggies I tried on and REALLY loved in the Satin! But the only thing that pulled me away was the weight of the dress! And the colors you can choose from is amazing! I think Pearl was my sample and the color was amazing!
