I adore that cobalt blue – but not crazy about the pink with it.  What about cobalt and white?   If not, navy and red would be my next favorite!

What is your venue and what kind of feel are you going for? Does your Fiance have any preferences to keep in mind?

What about a Navy or Cobalt and Purple?! I love deep rich colors for Fall weddings! =)

I really like the first two. Since its going to be an end of summer wedding / fall wedding i think you can really go either way!

Chocolate and turquoise.  Love this!  But didn’t think I would.  It’s really lovely and unique!  I also like cobalt and pink. 🙂

@missmarchmommy: I think it’s more logical to decide how you want your day to feel, select the venue that vbest fits that feel and your logistical needs, and then select your colors to work with what the venue already brings to the table. How do you want the day to feel? Like a bright and vibrant fiesta? A subtly romantic Jane Austen novel? Slightly moody and mysterious? Classicly elegant? Jame’s bond level suave and debonaire? Hollywood glam? Colors have moods. What mood do you want to evoke?

Okay, of the options you posted, a deep (not bright/bold) red and navy seem the most “romantic”. Cobalt and pink is very playful (and my personal fav of your options), chocolate and turquise is dated, and red and light purple is incomplete (though it could work if you brought in some other colors). But really, you need to choose the venue first because the decor and style of the venue really do change things.

navy and red. it’s like the best of both of your worlds!
