Am I the only one, or are any of you other January bees stuck in a rut when it comes to wedding planning? Today I have 3 months and 4 days, and I just feel like I’m stuck when it comes to planning! We bought our wedding bands last week, and took our engagement pictures last week as well, but I feel like we’re stuck. In the past few months though there have been days or weeks where I just go crazy and get tons of stuff accomplished at once! So hopefully I can get back in that swing again!

I know the feeling. I am sort of in a holding pattern until the invites go out (end of next week!) But while we wait for RSVPs to come back, I am working on menu cards, burning the CDs for our favors, and writing thank you notes for my bachelorette party that was last week.
You will get back in the swing, I promise. Sometimes you just need a break from thinking about all things wedding.

I’ve changed my wedding date but when our date was January 22, I noticed one weird thing about having a January wedding was that it felt like it was next year so I felt like I had more time and got stuck more often even though it wasn’t that far away. I don’t know if you feel that ever, I just noticed i had that feeling a lot before we changed our date and it kept me from constantly feeling motivated (“Well it’s not until next year”).

I would get rid of all the littel things on your list if you haven’t already; like buy Ring Bearer pillow, Flower Girl basket, guestbook, garters, Bridesmaid or Best Man presents…because once the holidays come you will have a lot less time and they will go by quick!

Thankfully a most of the little stuff like Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts, guest book, bubble baskets, program basket, ect… is all taken care of, along with flowers and cake and all that are taken care of..

@ginger87- me too 😀
i’ve been in a rut but i think it’s bc i got so much done so long ago. i feel like there’s nothing left for me to do, bc it’s mostly finished (which is sad!). i keep wanting to speed up time so i can go to my first fitting, make a seating chart, etc.
