My classes also start on Monday. I’m getting my master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, I also work as a daycare/preschool teacher everyday. I have night classes Tues-Thurs, class every other Friday, then I’m waiting on my clinical assignment which will really tell me how the semester goes (could be 20 hours a week, could be 5, this summer it was 10hrs, no telling what it will be). One of the three classes I took the same class in undergrad (same workbooks, etc) so it should be pretty easy. The other two are midterm, final, paper or project so a little bit of work but not too terrible. This summer was the worst because I had 4 8-week classes plus clinic and a wedding so everything was smashed into those crazy 8 weeks, still managed straight As though! I am also ready for Decemeber!

I am currently getting my Master of Public Health (MPH) – it’s an online program that is completely accredited.  I’m also looking for a new job where I am not taken advantage of *cough* – full or part time while doing this graduate work.

I am taking two classes – Public Health Policy & Management and Social & Behavioral Health.  Policy & Management is going to be rough for me, as it’s the business side of medicine which I have no experience (and no passion) for.

I’m looking to maintain my 4.00 GPA to get into the Public Health Honors Society (Delta Omega).

My last year of college starts on Tuesday. I’m taking 19 credits, plus I work about 20 hours a week. Lots of assignments on the syllabuses I’ve received thus far and LOTS of reading. Seriously, is it December yet?

Our paths sounds similar πŸ™‚ I eventually want to be a school social worker. But the next few weeks are going to be insane. I’m currently living in Orlando and am moving to Boston on September 1. I’ve been living on my own for 7 years so I have enough stuff that I wanted a moving truck. Which means me and  the Fiance are driving a Penske truck 20 hours from Orlando to Boston on Sunday. So that will be rough and September 1 is supposed to be the biggest moving day of the year in Boston. I really wanted a move date right about now so that I could adjust a little but the 1st is such a big date that finding something for any other date is nearly impossible. So then I have orientation the very next day on September 2 and start class on the 3rd. I’ll be going to Boston College for a Master’s in Social Work. The schedule seems okay but it’s hard to predict what it will be like. Monday and Tuesday I have field study and am interning at a local non-profit that’s focused on mentoring kids. Then Wednesday and Friday I have class. I really tried to spread it out more but I ended up with one class on Wednesday and three classes on Friday. Having a day off with be nice but not sure how I feel about Fridays. I’m also working part-time online as a search engine evaluator, mainly to save up for the wedding. So a lot of big changes coming and part of me is nervous but mainly just really excited πŸ™‚

I’m working on my last few pre reqs to apply to nursing school. This fall I am taking 1 class – biology. This class starts 9 days after our wedding. The only rough part is my work schedule, one day every 2 weeks I will be going to class straight from work. That wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t work 12 hour night shifts. Plus, my school is over an hour away from my work.

I am in my first law school. 6 classes. The amount of reading is CRAZY.  I have to do a bunch of community service hours for my scholarship. On top of all of that… I am in a long distance relationship.

I just started my program to get my Masters in Speech Language Pathology last Monday. I’m going full time and taking 7 courses (16 credits). I’m also working 30 hours a week between my three jobs. I’m a graduate assistant, a caregiver for a person with disabilities, and a kitchen worker in a bar. I have classes Monday-Thursday, do my assistantship work Monday-Wednesday before and between classes (and some from home other days), do my caregiver job Monday morning-Friday morning, and work at the bar Friday night and Saturday night. So my schedule has been hectic – my Darling Husband is always texting me and asking where I am because he can’t keep track haha. But it’s manageable. I’m loving the classes!

I can’t wait for December. Well, really for January. My Darling Husband and I booked a cruise so we can relax πŸ™‚

I’m a Criminal Justice and Sociology major! This is my last semester of classes and I start my internship in January. Then May and I will be FINISHED!! I’m only taking 3 classes this semester because I studied abroad this summer so I didn’t have many left. I’m taking research methods, social control of crime and sociological theories. My classes are bad this semster, my theories class is just terribly boring and my professor is awkward. I just met with my internship coordinator today and decided to do my internship with the Dept. of Juvenile Justice! So excited!

xstitchbride425:  Grad student here in the sciences, every semester ends up being a busy one. Anyhow, this semester is sort of special because I am taking an oral exam which a big deal to advance. I have a couple conferences with presentations to give, papers, homework, projects, experiments, lots of writing and reading, travel, meetings, blah blah blah. School is my life mostly πŸ˜‰
