$155,000, thanks to a veterinary doctorate I no longer really want. My husband and I have totally combined our finances, and are paying off our loans (car, mortgage, student loans) based on interest rate. My student loans have the lowest interest rate, and if we proceed along our current payment path, we’ll be debt-free in 2023. However, I suspect we’ll end up paying them off more quickly than that.

thank god for state schools & scholarships! my BA = $0. my MA on the other hand… I don’t even want to think about! haha I’m only just now applying!

Graduated in 2007 with $70,000. Currently down to $50,000. Plan on paying them off in 2012.

Darling Husband graduated from law school in 2006 with over 100K in loans that were paid off in 2008.
