Those ASPCA commercials with that sad Sarah McLachlan song always get to me! I have to fast forward through those commercials or change the channel. I can’t handle the sad little eyes of the abused animals! 🙁 And if I’m already emotional for whatever reason, those commercials will send me over the edge. I will full on cry.

It’s definitely the music. The ending is where I started to choke up. Those lyrics and her voice.. Hauntingly beautiful.

“Dark End of The Street” by Cat Power.

I’d have to say any Hallmark commercial. I’m not a crier but there’s something special about those.

@JenniMichele:  Me too 🙁

I’m a sap for the Disney World commericals where they suprise their kids with “Were going to Disney”   I squirt a tear every damn time.

@Stacy_Loves_Pink:  +1 on the Hallmark commercials.

HOWEVER, I have to say that the last commercial that made me have an ugly cry was that clydesdale Budweiser commercial where the guy raises the horse from pony up, the horse goes off to be a Budweiser horse and recognizes his old owner in the street… Man, I tear up just thinking about it. It was one of the Super Bowl commercials this year.

@JenniMichele:  In college, we used to have to shut those off everytime my roommate’s boyfriend was there. He would get SO UPSET!

Also – this is funny – we would play that song in our dorm rooms every time one of our pets died (we had lots of deaths- fish and hermit crabs, lol).

I’m such a baby for commercials.

And ohmygod, that Budweiser commercial with the guy raising the horse and then he lets it go to become a Budweiser Clydesdale.  Then he goes to see the Clydesdales and then the horse remembers him and runs toward him and they nuzzle.  BAWLED.

Ryan, regarding the Volkswagen commercial, have you ever visited Alaska?
