I thought the same thing and was similarly disappointed.

I’ve found that my empire waist dresses with zippers don’t fit (how is my RIBCAGE larger??) but the ones that have elastic waists still do. Other than that I’m considering putting a panel in the back and wearing a cardigan πŸ™‚

@troubled: But really even if your dress was totally unzipped and your whole back was hanging out…who’s going to say anything to a pregnant woman? πŸ™‚

I know you don’t want to spend money & the cardigan idea is great, but if it doesn’t work I’ve seen some cute reasonably priced dresses at Old Navy. What event is the dress for? Maybe an Old Navy dress would work without breaking the bank?

@troubled:remember it takes time to get your body back after baby, so you will probably wear these dresses for 4-8 weeks after baby too!! especially if you Boyfriend or Best Friend because your boobs are going to be huge πŸ™‚
