Awwww….sorry you had a rough weekend! I’ve totally been there before too. I hate it when you work so hard to do something for someone and they don’t care or want it. ugh. That is nice that they at least tried to make up for it though. LOL. And it’s a good thing you can laugh about it now. But trust me, it totally happens. If it makes you feel any better, I had a total come apart over tulle this weekend. Yes, tulle. lol. I am making chair sashes for the venue for our wedding that is just under two weeks away, and it turns out I didn’t order enough. Ugh. AND I live in a pretty small city and there seems to be very limited options when it comes to buying fabrics. So now, I don’t know what I am going to do. Grrr….

I am hoping the rest of this week goes more smoothly! lol. Best of luck to you too!

@stardustintheeyes: It’s fine. It made me giggle actually. πŸ˜›

You should invest in a good potato peeler. Knives are kind of dangerous and time-consuming.

Another option is to boil them first and THEN peel them just be careful not to burn yourself.

Ideally you should boil potatoes for one hour and scoop the foam out of them from time to time.

(I’m Irish… we’ve been making homemade mashed potatoes for a LONG time πŸ˜› )

Oh wow, that is a major fail! LOL. Some days is just like one thing after another. I totally understand how that is. Good thing you’ve got an understanding guy πŸ™‚
