I’ve been married for almost a year. I didn’t really take my time in selecting my dress. The day I bought it, I really thought I loved it. But since the wedding, I can’t shake the feeling that I should have gone with a “princessy” dress. I hate the way my dress looked in the pictures. I had a big stupid gap between the small of my back and the fabric, which in the side shots looks like my back has no curve. On the day, I just didn’t feel beautiful in the damn thing.

I’m sorry you felt that way in your dress 🙁 *Hugs* But you certainly LOOK beauitful! And to be completely honest, I think your back looks fine/normal…at least in the picture. Now that the wedding is over and since there is not much you can do about it, I would try not to dwell and try to focus on all the aspects of your wedding that you loved.
ETA: Congrats by the way on the wedding, your venue looks absolutely gorgeous!

I’m sorry for your regret, but from what I can see you looked stunning! Maybe you can renew your vows in the future and pick out a dress that makes you feel amazing.

That must be a great picture then. I think you looked great!
Fun fact: I thought you were blonde.

Thanks, ladies! I do like the vow renewal idea. Maybe I can convince Darling Husband to do it for our 5 year anniversary. Or maybe sooner.
@axeyourmakeupkit: I’m curious–why did you think I was blonde? I’m actually wayyyyy over in the opposite direction. Dark brown hair that is very nearly black. I actually had it dyed two shades lighter before the wedding and would have gone lighter if I’d had the guts to take the risk.

IMO the dress looks good. Please don’t have a VR to fulfill that need to have a better dress.
