Hmm I have so many! Smacking, chomping on ice, blowing bubble gum bubbles, driving in the right lane until you decide you IMMEDIATELY need to turn left, slow drivers in the left lane, people who say obvious things, people who get offended too easily, people who talk to me like they’re better than me, people who text and drive…I feel like I could go on…

Oh my god all of these bother me!! Except maybe the speaking in unison thing…lol. My BIGGEST annoyance is loud eaters. Ew. And also people who type with a lot of ‘…’s but accidentally use commas instead, like “omg me and my bff went to the mall,,,,,,and this guy was like hey,,,,and we were like hey,,,,” AAGGH.

I have to say the most annoying thing to me right now is that I have SO MANY people who have said “I want to help plan your wedding, anything at all just let me help, even addressing invitations or licking them or whatever” Pretty much verbatum.
And now, just tonight, I FB’ed my girl friends and asked for some help in addressing the envelopes next week. One girl who has been so adamant about helping up until the actual planning started immediately said no. No explanation nothing. Every time I have invited her out to do anything, house warming, birthday, dinner, lunch, girls night, nothing. It’s like she doesn’t want to be friends with me anymore or something. I have 3 other girls that have offered to help, but it seems like they just want to do the fun stuff, that should be done by me and Fiance, like flower and color choices. They ALL want to see my dress, but no one wants to actually help out. I am not asking for anything extravagant or anything, just some help. Of course my BMs will be here and are excited! It’s the other friends who were excited at first who keep ditching me on everything. Mostly, I just want to spend time with some of my friends, but they don’t seem to want to.

Any kind of loud chewing drives me up a wall! Or when cars at a 4 way stop sign play the “who’s going to go first game?” it’s like an accident waiting to happen!!

@panterapeach: AHHH! I am COVERED in cat hair at all times. I use those sticky rollers to get it off before I leave for work and by the time I get to work I’m covered in hair again! how does that happen?!
My biggest pet peeve right now are people on bikes on narrow roads. In fact, our city painted bike lanes down the middle of one of the busiest, narrowest roads…which is outrageous alone, but bikes just ride down the middle and you can’t pass them! It causes major back up and I’m definitely just gonna lose it and hit one pretty soon.
Oh and that my Fiance ALWAYS leaves drawers/cabinets open. It drives me out of my skull.

Passive-aggressive FB statuses!

1. When people here talk about how their waiting, engaged, married frends are jealous of them. Get a effin grip and grow up. How old are you again?
2. When people here discuss “I’m at a different stage because I’m married and buying a house and she’s single.” Man, please! Maybe it’s because I know a lot of grown women who aren’t married who have houses. A lot more than marrieds with houses. No one has to wait until they get married to corner the housing market. If you got your stuff together and DON’T need a second income, you straight. This irritates the shit out of me.
3. Just feeling old on this board irritates me.I’m 30, but the stuff I read just bothers me smetimes, especially about “stages”.

@MsMamaBear: lol I like how you refer to them as “marrieds”. It’s like a new breed.

when it’s hot out and my housemates leave the windows open all day, so that by the afternoon it’s just as hot inside as it is outside, whereas if they had shut the windows in the morning, the house would have warmed up much slower than the outside all day!
ETA: just reading this thread is reminding me of annoying things! lol! I had better stop now…

@Mrs Hedgehog: AHHH I AGREE! I’m not changing my 1st or last name though so I guess I’ll be able to avoid this… lol
Things that annoy me now: one-uppers.

So many things I agree with on here but here are my biggest pet peeves:
-People who are late/being late. I realize that there are times when it is unavoidable (there is an accident or something) but I cannot understand how people are consistently late (a certain IL). And on that note more than that if you are going to be late, tell me. There is no excuse for not letting me know you are going to be late.
-People who tip their chairs back on to the back two legs. This drives me freaking crazy. I work at a library and I see it all the time and I always tell them that the chair needs to be on four legs. I feel like I sound like my grandma.
-Bike riders who follow the road rules only when it is good for them.

When I’m sleeping, and my roommates turn the light in the hallway on. Instead of turning it off after going downstairs, it’s on until they decide to go to sleep… 5 hours later. Turn off the light DANG! I hate bright shining light in my eyes!
Whe I’m at the mall and people are walking towards me, but won’t move over to the left. I treat walkways like driving.. stay on the right side! But no, they want to be closer to the stores I suppose. The only exception I give for this is if someone just came out of the store and starts walking towards me.
When a car rides side by side with me on the highway. Or they pass me, slow down, pass me, slow down. I know it’s not me because I have speed control! So figure out what speed you want to go… but no I don’t want to ride beside you for 3 hours!

-Traffic in general tends to annoy me, like when they drive way below the speed limit, or drive slowly in the left hand lane, not using turn signals, etc.
-At work, it’s following nurses who leave behind a messy room.
-Having to repete myself more then a couple times, it drives me crazy.
-People who come to a dead stop right in front of you in the middle of a walk way, like in the mall or the airport. I always almost accidently tackle them when they do that.

I agree with so many of these…one thing that for some unknown reason bothers me to no end is when guys tuck their sunglasses in the BACK of their shirt collar or wear BEHIND their head! I hate it and want to pull them off and stomp on them? Weird, I KNOW!
