This is my dress! I still have until July, 2011 but I’m already wondering about how I should do my hair and what shoes I should wear etc. So, my question to you ladies….how would YOU style this dress? I’m thinking no necklace, and hair up because I want to show off the back of the dress. However, I’m not sure what style updo to have. Also, I have long straight hair. I’m trying to go for a ‘vintage romantic’.
On a sidenote…I’ve been browsing the boards and lurk often and you girls are just awesome and SO supportive.

The back is beautiful!!! I would do a loose up do ( all my hair up, I dont like the curls around the face thing) prob with a birdcage veil. I would do a really short necklace with a very small stone (just so my boobs are not in total focus) and stud ear rings! good luck!

loose up do!!! I agree! That dress is so amazing that you will need next to nothing else when it comes to accessories. I would say that stud earrings are the way to go. I would also consider not wearing a necklace at all. A simple veil or headpiece would go great!

here is what i would do… a sideswept low updo (not a ton of curls, simple) and earring and a bracelet… and a mini tulle veil. 🙂
crystal earrings from etsy (heknowsmyname)
pearl earrings and bracelet from etsy (bluelovebird)

Thanks for the tips ladies!
I’m loving the jewlrey you picked out stephanie! I’m thinking the bracelet and simple diamond studs. (HOWEVER, I’m sure that will change 100309 times just like everything else about the wedding has!)

love your dress! and i love pretty much all of stephanie’s styling suggestions. i’m aiming for a similar dress sillhouette and i’ll probably skip the necklace, wear nice studs and maybe a nice bracelet and then go with a loose updo, maybe a bit off to the side. i love simple styling with a beatutiful dress (and a beautiful bride!).
