pumpkinwaffle :  it was a local jeweller yes and he designed it all with her without my input and it’s perfectly me in every way. Here’s some pictures showing some of the details. The sapphire is moody and shifts from pale purple grey to blue to a more vivid purple depending on the lighting. It also has black diamonds, because I love black gold but it doesn’t suit my skin tone

The gallifreyian letter

My friend met her hubby at a Doctor Who convention, and they have Doctor Who rings. I have no picture of them, though.

I think the One Ring is beautiful as a wedding ring but I’m not a big enough LOTR fan to do that.

My Fi and I don’t have geeky rings, but we met through a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan board, and we’re going to get “Fortune favors the brave” engraved inside of our wedding rings.

pumpkinwaffle :  That they do. You’re welcome, and happy hunting, bee. You have plenty of great suggestions on here. Let us know what your favorites are. 🙂 The bee is great for ring advice.

I think it’s great your trying to incorporate a shared fandom like Pokémon or Disney, we play ALOT of Pokémon ourselves lol

In regards to Pokémon you could do 2 bands that when stacked on top of each other make a quaisi poké ball- a his and hers band so one of you has a cresent of ruby and the other diamond or sapphire or whatever in your choice of stone/metal/diameter (excuse the crude digital drawing but this is what I’m trying to convey lol)

pumpkinwaffle :  My husband has a Batman wedding ring. It’s literally black tungsten with a silver Batman logo. Came off Amazon for like $50. Maybe try there?

K. Uno also has a selection of Pokémon and Sailor moon engagement and wedding rings.  And Disney.  Pretty much any fandom I think haha

Have you seen any of the jewelry from Soulbound? They make video game inspired (dainty) jewelry! I love their designs!

You could get something like these for some fun stacking

A plain band, milgrain or hammered texture, with some inscription inside that references star wars? (Do or do not. There is no try.” Or “I love you” & “I know”.)

These are Princess Leia inspired

And lastly these seem like a cool set !

I have this set by Kristin Coffin–twig rings as a nod to Elven style in Lord of the Rings

Why not do a traditional ring with a sapphire halo? Reminds me of R2D2!!
