Weird! Let’s cross our fingers the seller is on vacation or something…

I’m not familiar with the seller, but you can also take action if you paid through Paypal. I hope you hear from the seller soon!

I also ordered a veil from Bella Bridal Veils on etsy (I just checked- it was on May 11, two days after you) and recieved it within about 10 days.  It was not a custom veil though, so it was probably already made and ready to go.  I would expect a custom order to take awhile longer, but they should have responded to your message.  If you look at their feedback some others have complained that they never responded to messages requesting info on delivery time, but also they eventually recieved their veil.  Best of luck!

That’s where I got my veil also! She wasn’t the best at corresponding with me either. I bought mine back in January so I can’t really speak to how long it took to receive mine…but I would guess it was at least a month…I love my veil though! I would guess that because it’s wedding season, they are backlogged with orders, but that is NO excuse not to respond to you…hope you hear something soon!

Custom orders can take a long time. It’s weird that she isn’t responding to your messages. But etsy can sometimes be weird with messaging.

Most of the time, the seller’s e-mail address is listed on the PayPal payment confirmation. I would log into your PayPal account and see if the e-mail address is listed there and try to contact her that way.

I have dealt with a flaky seller on etsy before, who just needed a little extra prodding to be a good communicator. But at least in the case of this individual, the product was so worth it in the end. Hope it’s the same for you.

Good luck!

Log into your Etsy account, click on "your Etsy" and then "purchases".  Find this transaction and there will be a link labelled "view invoice".  There you will find the actual email address that the seller has linked to their Etsy account.  Maybe you will have better luck contacting them that way.  They might notice a real email in the midst of several Etsy Convo notifications.

You should also check your Paypal transaction–sometimes sellers use a different email address for Paypal than their Etsy account.  It could give you another avenue to reach them.

That’s so weird!  I bought my veil from them and had a great experience.  Mine wasn’t custom, but I had it within 2 weeks.  Good luck!

Woah. As an Etsy seller myself, I am sorry that you had had such crappy communication with this seller. It is by NO means normal and it does not reflect the larger Etsy community. I respond to my customer’s e-mails within 24 hours of recieving them and apologize if it takes even a minute longer. Even if it IS a custom order, you paid for the item and the LEAST the seller can do is respond to your inquiries, even if she is busy. I hope you take advantage of the feedback tool and really give her a fitting response to her service – or lack thereof.

This has happened to my only once with Etsy and it was very frustrating! I can totally feel you! As it turned out for me, the item was shipping a bit later than I thought and I recieved it before the seller even got back to me. The seller had a rough couple of weeks and wasn’t able to reply to my messages, but still made/sent my item. It was still frustrating, though.

Hope this works out for you quickly!

I ordered from her too and feel the same at Stiletto–she wasn’t great at communicating and it took some time for me to get mine, but no, you didn’t get screwed:-)
