So in a fit of panic at how much I still have left to organise last night I ordered 120 mini succulent plants! Im aiming to put these on the table as favours / place card holders – inspired by the below
I would really love to be able to afford to put these in mirrored vases (everything in the reception is going to be qhite / mirrored / twinkly and romantic, however the only vases I can find between 8 and 10cm in size are around £5 each
So I am looking for some inspiration please! I have found some galvinised buckets but am worried they will be a little too beaten up to fit in well. Other than that I have found lots of nice glass vases but this would leave the soil on display. Any thoughts on a container or how to cover a glass vase to hide the soil?

You could paint the glass vases with metallic spray paint. I know I’ve seen some recently that is super shiney like a mirror

Succulent plants were a favor at my bridal shower! I used my florist (who is excellent) but she ordered votive holders to cut on cost. I then used a toothpick with thank you sign and some ribbon to dress them up. A few small stones also broke up the top of the soil.
Hope this helps!

I think they are lovely just as is. If you want to add sparkle, then add a jewel or silver charm to them. Perhaps sew or glue or purchase a charm that has a whole or opening to slip your ribbon onto.
Orientaltrading.com has lots of shiny beads, charms, etc. check them out – do a search.

I like the votive holder option. There a tons out there that are not clear – white, smoked glass, blingy, etc.
Here is a link to a picture of succulents in a mercury glass votive.
