I <3 succulents in weddings but I’m getting married on top of a Colorado mountain.
Here to be exact: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150322481132329&set=a.10150155141997329.335310.179428072328&type=1&theater
Do you think it would look weird to have succulents in a not so desert-y environment? I don’t plan for the succulents to be my main flower. Maybe something like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/93145061/

Thanks for your opinions! 😀

I love succulents! I don’t think you need to be in a desert environment to use them! Go for it!

What is the rest of the wedding going to be like (rustic, elegant, casual, etc)? I personally think that the flowers are gorgeous and wouldn’t look out of place at all on a CO mountain:) BUT, if the rest of your wedding has a totally different feel then they may look a little out of place.
PS- LOVE the colors!

We grow succulents in rock gardens here in Vancouver and no one has ever called our climate “desert-like”.
They will be beautiful.

Thanks guys! I guess I was just obsessing over something little; like most brides tend to do. Our wedding is going to have a rustic/vintage romance feel to it & succulents will def. fit in.
Thanks again, Vanessa 🙂
