A new employee started at my company. I saw a ring on her ring finger and asked if she was married. She said she was engaged. So I told her I’ve been married for a few months and I basically started telling her not to worry about the little stuff. So I started to tell her that the day before my wedding it was a beautiful day. The day of my wedding, however, was so windy they had to take my centerpieces off the table and my floral arrangement down from the ceremony because the wind kept knocking them over. My wedding and reception was outdoor. The temperature dropped it was cold but at the end of the day I married my man and we still had a great time.
She then asked if she could tell me something. I said yes. She told me that my husband was not the man I was suppose to marry. That those were signs that we shouldn’t have gotten married. So to lighten the mood I said well Mother Nature sure picked a hell of time to tell me that. She said that the signs were there but I just ignored them. Then she asked where my husband worked, we both worked at night. She said you work at night and he works at night you guys were not suppose to get married. Then she asked me if I loved him. I said yes I’m madly in love with him. She told me that was my problem. She said I was blinded by love so I couldn’t see the signs right in front of me. WTH?! Who says that to some one you don’t even know. Basically your marriage won’t last because the wind knocked your centerpieces over. I couldn’t even continue a conversation with her. Hopefully it doesn’t rain on her day.

She sounds like a complete nut job with poor social skills. I’d feel kind of bad for her, actually. :/
I wouldn’t take *anything* she says very seriously.

@mrsjjohnson2b: she sounds crazy and if i were you, i’d steer clear of all future communication outside of work related items.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? What a weirdo! A rude weirdo at that! Yeesh.

@mrsjjohnson2b: Um wow, if someone would have said that to me I would just be speechless! Who says that to someone, especially someone you just met. Yikes, I would keep my distance from a person like her. That is ridiculous that she has that kind of attitude…it is surprising this woman is engaged. LOL heaven forbid anything goes wrong on her big day!

@mrsjjohnson2b: bahahaha did you proceed to laugh in her face? Her crazyness is a sign her Fiance shouldn’t marry her! i kid i kid. but seriously.

@mrsjjohnson2b: LOL fun! New crazy person at work. Obviously her Fiance isn’t seeing the signs either.

Also, there were probably a dozen other outdoor weddings on your wedding day. Were THOSE couples not supposed to get married either? What a superfreak.

The lack of social skills is laughable. She is clearly a bit off!

lol – this chick is a psycho. It’s going to take more then wind to signal to me that my Fiance and I weren’t meant to be – like – you know; being unable to solve a disagreement together…
EDIT: PLEASE ask this chick what signs she saw that made her know that she was engaged to the ‘right’ man and then update this. I need to know now.

Wow, sounds like it already rained on her parade. Kinda makes you want to sneak in, poke a vase over and see if she calls the whole thing off, eh?
Congrats on your recent wedding, though! What a crazy day – good story to tell. It was a dark and stormy day… and I married the love of my life! 🙂

@mrsjjohnson2b: Whoa, that’s nuts! I would stay away from her and not engage in any more personal conversations.
But, I have to ask . . . did you ask her where she gets her (psycho/psychic) information?
Sorry, but I’d have sssoooo much fun with a person like this. hehe.
