So I have at least a little bit of a nickel allergy and have to wear 18 karat gold earrings or I have a pretty bad reaction, but they can be white gold. I have 18 karat white gold wedding and engagement rings that I’ve worn for 4 and 5 years with no issues until this morning. My fingers have been swelling a little bit over night since I’ve been pregnant but this morning I woke up and couldn’t get the rings off. My finger has little white bumps. Has this happened to anyone else? I’ll be really sad if I have to stop wearing my rings

Pregnancy makes your immune system go nutty so its probably related. Sadly you may need to get a stand in ring that doesnt trigger your allergies. Sorry bee.
I had a miscarriage in Sept and the resulting hormone crash after my D&E led to a nearly full body eczema outbreak that raged on for nearly a month before finally settling down. Im prone to allergies and skin issues but that was the worst!

anonbee3584 : Have you had your rings replated recently? Otherwise, I agree with OP. I had a horrible contact dermatitis with my last pregnancy. It started around 19 weeks, took a month of misery to figure out, and I just maintained through the rest of my pregnancy. As soon as I gave birth, it went away.
