Hi everyone, Im new to weddingbee and I need some help. My colors are coral orange and sage/lime green. I have 5 bridesmaids and groommen and 5 flower girls. Mini bride and groom, ring bearer and bible bearer. My bridesmaid would be in orange dresses with green ribbons and my maid of honour and flower girls would be in green dress with orange ribbon/slash. For the men suit I prefer not to use black, grey, dark browne or white. My thinking is either of the following: champagne, cream or light browne. What do you think would be a better choice so that the colors go well. Thanks much.

@jenny3: I know yiu said no grey but i think light grey would be best with those colors. But if you can post pics of your other stuff it will be easier to visualize it.

@jenny3: out of the colours you suggested i would say cream, but i agree with wilfred that light grey would probably look best

What’s left? Navy is the only color you haven’t listed and I don’t think that would match orange and lime green. Maybe light brown or champagne would work, but I can’t picture it. I am not so sure about cream colored suits on men either. I agree with the previous poster, light grey would probably be best. Maybe with green ties and a coral bouttonierre.

@jenny3: Are you planning to rent or buy suits? I know that our groomsmen would not have been really thrilled about purchasing a cream or a tan suit, which have limited rewearability. The reason that so many people end up in blacks and greys is because those colors tend to look good on the majority of men. (Exception: darker skinned men can really pull off a white or a cream suit, but it’s a very formal look — not your every day work wear, unless you’re a music mogul.)
With the colors that you’re suggesting, I think maybe a navy suit that really photographs blue is going to be your most versatile option. Navy and coral look nice together, and so do navy and lime green. You’re going to lose your oranges against a tan suit, so you want to go for contrast, not matching. If you don’t like navy, I’d go with cream, I suppose — but then there’s the issue of you in a white/cream dress against the groomsmen.

@MrsBlueSeptember: Hahaha, we have different opinions on navy. OP, search “navy and coral wedding” and “navy and lime wedding” on Google Images and see if you like what you see. 🙂

If by “light brown” you mean khaki, I think it would work well.
