I love your inspiration board! We too are planning our wedding for October 2010, and the colors we’re thinking of are pomegrante, chocolate brown and olive. I wanted fall but not pumpkins and orange, ya know!? I think you’ve captured fall really well with your color scheme.

Another thing to keep in mind is flower colors…if your girls wear plum will you want them to have sage/green colored flowers? I want my girls to have gerbera daisies so they’ll be wearing the olive color so they can have burgandy daisies.

I think having your maid of honors stand out is a great idea! In my sister’s wedding, as the Maid/Matron of Honor, I wore a darker colored lavendar dress (in the same style) as the BMs (who wore lilac) It made me feel very special!

I’m doing aubergine dresses with cool water roses (kind of lavendar-ish), orange roses, orange/rust calla lilies, and green hydrangeas.  I’ll bringing the fall foliage element into the reception, where the centerpieces with be maple leafs with LED tealight candles hanging in them.

I think the grape accents & perhaps succulents tied into centerpieces would be really nice & a bit avant garde. Consider one florals with light green or purple crystals hanging from then or perhaps tie in the grapes or succulents in like teardrop hanging vases suspending from somewhere.

You can have alot of fun with your bridesmaids dresses as well. Mix & Match and satiny fabrics would really romance it up.

And for you – definitely purple shoes to spice it up.

Think of wine & winerys for these colors. Check out polyvore – might find some dresses & inspipration on there as well.

The plum dress with the floral pattern on it is my Bridesmaid or Best Man dress! It looks beautiful on all my girls…but I can understand wanting them to have their own shades. You can ask them to all buy different dresses within the color scheme, maintaining veto power on any that you don’t like.

And having two maids of honor isn’t crazy! My little sister and my best friend will be sharing the role. I think it’s made them both happier and taken some of the pressure off them,

you could do a candied red and muted orange for fall… and have every other Bridesmaid or Best Man have the same color. Plum and Sage ARE nice together but they are both darker shades and it would be more difficult to incorporate fall leaves.
