Thanks, ladies!  Looks like I will be calling a few more places.  (sorry – going for a small rant) I am having a little panic attack b/c I just got quoted $850 in alterations from Diana in Georgetown on my $1300 dress!!  Estee is booked until almost July & I am afraid if I wait til then she won’t have enough time since I didn’t say anything about the dress.

I just made an appointment with Estee, it’s an hour drive for me but worth it. The place where I bought my gown wants $500-$650 for alterations, I already paid over $2K for the dress and I just feel ripped off right now…hopefully this will work out!

@PMSJL:  You are going to love Estee! I have had 3 meetings with her already (complicated bustle, which she got totally creative with and came up with a beautiful solution). I’m picking up my dress for good next week. She’s lovely and charges less than she’s worth!
