I *think* theres a magical secret way to bustle your dress on the inside essentially folding your dress up and giving it the appearance of being hemmed. Like you can’t tell it’s a bustle.

There definitely is a way to bustle the dress without it actually looking like a bustle. That’s what my alterations person is doing to my dress. I’m no alterations person so I don’t know for sure how to do it, but it can be done and I’m sure they can show off the satin lines you love. Have you talked to an alterations person yet? Are you wanting the actual bustle look or just to pull the train up a bit? It’s a pretty dress and I would hate for the look of an actual bustle to hide the beautiful lines and overlay.

I think I would go with a train flip bustle on that dress, to avoid disrupting the lines.

musket87 :  It’s like… the opposite of a ballroom bustle but is going for the same effect of the “no bustle” look. It’s really exactly what it sounds like. The train of the dress is “flipped” under and secured with a bunch of ties underneath to look like it was hemmed.
