Pages is fairly cheap and they have pretty templates.  What are you going to design? Believe it or not, alot can be done in Word (if you can figure out how to use the %@^# thing).

You can definitely do all of that with Pages. It’s pretty flexible.

Yup, they have templates built in for brochures that you could use for the Out of Town pamphlets.

I’d use Pages or Word.  But I hate Word, so Pages would be my first choice.

My MacBook came standard with Pages, and I used it to design a LOT of our wedding stuff (signage, Out of Town notes, etc.).

If you want to be a little more daring you can download any of the adobe suite for a free 30 day trial! Illustrator would probably be your best bet.

Oh, just got really excited thinking my computer came with Pages, but it’s just a link to buy it!

(Word 2008 – the Mac version – has a publishing feature.  It’s pretty nice, for Word.  That’s an option, too!)
