my dad is not involved in my life (i haven’t seen him in 10 years and haven’t spoken in about 2 years) i want to have a “father/daughter” dance with my uncle who is the closest thing to what a father should really be. He has always been there to listen to me and been there in the happiest times. is that appropriate? and also….what type of song could i use? any input in this matter would be GREATLY appreciated!! THANK YOU!!

I definitely think it’s appropriate. It’s all about what you want!
I can’t really think of a song suggestion though, sorry!

Is there a fun song that you both really like but isn’t necessarily a ‘traditional’ slow wedding dance song?
My dad and I are dancing to ‘Werewolves of London’ by Warren Zevon because, well, its our song!
