Anything Barry mannilow!! I didnt have a father/daughter dance, but I played this for my dad (we both love barry) “I am your child”

I am your child.
Wherever you go, you take me, too.
Whatever I know, I learn from you.
Whatever I do, you taught me to do.
I am your child.
And I am your chance.
Whatever will come, will come from me.
Tomorrow is won, by winning me.
Whatever I am, you taught me to be.
I am your hope,
I am your chance,
I am your child.

A couple of ideas – I usually go for the more uptempo stuff, but listen to a lot of showtunes and sixties songs because I am apparently secretly 65 years old:

It’s De-Lovely and I Get a Kick Out of You from Anything Goes (Cole Porter)

Wouldn’t It Be Nice by the Beach Boys

Till There Was You (both sixties and showtunes! either the Beatles version or the Music Man version)

They Say That Falling in Love is Wonderful from Annie Get Your Gun (Irving Berlin)

Where or When and My Funny Valentine from Babes in Arms

my favorite love song is Love Minus Zero / No Limit by Bob Dylan

April Come She Will by Simon and Garfunkel

One Boy from Bye Bye Birdie

If I Were a Bell from Guys and Dolls

I really enjoyed hearing the Buddy Holly songs we picked!

Everyday & Rave On

The Beatles                                                                                                         Twist and Shout

All 3 songs were alot of fun!
