@winterbriderose:  What about “When I Say I Do” by Matthew West? Christian song.  I’m using it for my first dance song or else I would walk down the aisle to it.  If I could find an instrumental version of Divine Romance by Phil Wickham I would use that to walk down the aisle to(I love that song!)

Our church has guidlines of either Christian songs or classical. I chose to walk into “Canon in D.”

“Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring” is also very pretty–parents are walking in to that.

When my friend got married and wanted “When You Say Nothing At All” by Allison Krauss the Pastor talked to me and told me I had to sing “Only God’s grace can truly define” instead of the original lyrics “Old Mr. Webster could never define.”

Churches just generally don’t want pre-recorded music and to compliment a Christian tone, but that is only if lyrics are involved. If you are just wanting piano music, then you have free reign to pick whatever.

@winterbriderose:  I know that over on the Catholic boards there are a number of threads with lots of ideas for classical pieces for processionals. There might be on the Christian boards as well.
