Hi y’all! I’m very excited to be on weddingbee! My name is Kristine from NJ and just got engaged on 7/25/18 🙂 our wedding date is 4/27/19 and I’ve been looking around for wedding bands that would go well with my engagement ring which I chose a 1.01ct modified brilliant cushion cut with an 18k rose gold band. I’m in between getting a solid 18k rose gold engraved vintage style wedding band or just a thin band like my e-ring with diamonds on it. I can’t make up my mind and I don’t want something to take away from the diamond. Fire away!

I’d take some time, browse some stores, try on rings and see what you love.
Personally I’d take plain rose gold band about the width as the shank of your ering because I don’t like the look of to diamonds bands next to each other, especially matching ones. And I like when you can distinguish between the wedding band and the ering. But it’s a very personal decision and taste varies.
Congrats and good luck

I’d probably go with a plain band as well, but you do have quite a bit of time. Go browse different stores and try a lot on before making a purchase.

I would second a plain band or a matching band. You could always add mismatching bands later for different occasions. A plain band would be practical as well because you wouldnt have to worry about taking it off. By the way your engagement ring is gorgeous!

I think an engraved vintage style band would look gorgeous next to that! Something like this would be stunning:

I completely agree with you guys! The contrast would look amazing usually it’s the other way around with the e-ring as a solid band and the wedding band with diamonds so I’m striving for something different. Definitely want it as thin as my e-ring band as well. Thanks for the input 🙂
oh I love that!!
