I need yall’s help!!! I have a little sister who will be 9 (at wedding) years old… I want to have her in my wedding bc she is my heart.!!!! but a little bit too old to be a flower girl…
So i was thinking about having her as my ring princess. To carry the rings. I am having a beach wedding so I will thinking of her carrying a parasol
with ribbons that flow down holding the rings on it. Or maybe a purse wiht the rings in it… What do you think?? Any suggestions??

We’re having a beach wedding as well, and we’re getting a giant Nautilus shell to hold our rings. We’re going to fill it with sand and then have the rings poking up out of it, and she’ll carry it down the aisle and place it on a stand.

Oooo I love the idea of her holding the parasol with the rings dropping down. Just make sure that they are super attached on cause it would be terrible to lose them in the sand.

i think that is a super cute idea, i’m in the same sorta boat as you, i have 3 nephews who i want to be included in my wedding but no little girls, so instead of flower girls, i am having the 2 younger ones blowing bubbles down the aisle 🙂

Omg. I know!!! Wouldnt that be horrible??? If I do that I would def have to figure out a way to secure it on. Maybe have them in a shell case or tiny box. In case it drops off. U can just pick up the little box or w/e. Or maybe tied with ribbon on the ring n have th just untie it

I think that is an adorable idea!! I think perhaps a parsol and then either a cute basket type thing or box or something with a shell in it and the rings inside the scallop type shell.

I love the parasol idea, but definetely make sure those babies are secure. I had a friend that did the shell with sand and the rings in it. At the last minute they decided to switch the rings for fakes, and have the best man carry the rings in his pocket. Good thing, cus the little man tripped, and spilled the sand. He was only 3 though.

I think that’s a really nice idea. My fiance’s cousin will be ten at our wedding, and we wanted a role for her, so we made her a “book bearer.” She will carry the books for the ceremony readings down the aisle, have a special dress as part of the wedding party, etc. The books will probably be just a nice journal or two that we’ll put print-outs of the readings inside of. She’s very excited.

No reason she can’t be the ring princess — I was my big sister’s ring bearer 26 years ago this coming August (when I was 10)!
