Hey, I live in Nashville! Not sure where you’re from, but if you’re in the mood for southern food you can’t go wrong with the Loveless Cafe – everything is delicious, homestyle southern classics and the biscuits are to die for! They get really busy on the weekends so try to go early! Also Edleys BBQ in the 12 South neighborhood is awesome if you’re in the mood for BBQ and lots of yummy sides. If you want to do something downtown Nashville I would recommend Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant – more southern food  AND they have live music most nights! On Fridays/Saturdays they will occasionally charge a cover depending on the band playing; after that you can walk down to Broadway/2nd Street where all the Honky Tonks are and have a good time! If the hipster vibe is more your thing I would focus on the 12 South/East Nashville areas – lots of dive bars/small music venues/hole-in-the-wall DELICIOUS food! Good luck and have fun!

@rustic0820:  My ex is from Clarksville, TN & we use to visit Nashville a lot like every weekend for a whole year.  I am from Colorado and am not into country music, but I do love Nashville.

He is a big social guy around there.  He would be a Huge socialite if he was a girl and is very into the scene.

You should go to “The gulch” It’s a nice area with a bunch of yummy, cool, trendy restaurants/bars..

Also for late night, you should go to “midtown”.  “Losers’ is a place where lady antebellem, chuck wicks, carrie underwood etc go and all the locals go to.  Its like a country bar.

Tavern is also in midtown, for yummy food and its trendy/nice.  You would see country artist at all of these places or atleast we did every time we were there.  It’s a fun place to visit but I prefer Colorado:)

I didn’t care for the honky tonks (aka Broadway) its a bunch of old toursit that are wasted spilling beer all over you.

There’s a place on the main drag that is a candy store and OMG it is the Best.Candy.Ever – even the smell. I wish I could bottle that smell and wear it as my perfume. When we went there it was mostly country – the Old Spaghetti Factory was a delicious restaurant an easy walk off the main drag. My daughter took a picture of a sign for nude karaoke so hey, something for everyone!
