3 of my 5 groomsmen are plus size (what’s the male term, big and tall?) and my groom is as well. Men Wherehouse won’t let us try on suits :(, and no one is comfortable no trying on stuff.
Ideas? We live in a small town, but I’m willing to travel to San Francisco or Las Vegas (Family lives there) to try on stuff

Seriously!!!! What’s up with Men’s Warehouse???! My fiance is short and requires a short tux sleeve. Same thing. They said they don’t carry tuxes in the store for people to try on and we have to order it without ever knowing what it will look like till it’s here! WTF?? I wouldn’t order a wedding dress without trying it on. I’m not letting him order a tux without trying it on either.
Married ladies, please give us some advice!!

@Christy42213: Thanks for the bump!
I’m hoping some married bees will be able to help us!

I don’t know any specifics but maybe if you can’t find a good rental place that you can try on, you could try on at a regular store (or a big and tall store) and see what style looks best then rent based on that? Or a dude road trip?

We got our tuxes from an independent shop that had all inventory on site. I’d call around to the lesser known tux rental places in your area and ask if they carry inventory to try on in the sizes you need. Our rentals ended up being cheaper, but nicer than Mens Warehouse too.
