We wanted grey suits (our colors are grey/silver and royal blue) but we figured it’d be too hard to get everyone to get a hold of a grey suit since we can’t expect them to own one already and you don’t usually *rent* suits. So we’re looking for grey tuxes. We went to MW Wednesday actually and they have ONE and it’s Unavailable because it’s prom season. POO!! So now we’re exploring other options since corporate won’t tell them when to make it available again.

My Fiance and I are currently in discussion about this. Originally we were suits all the way, then I realized that the Bridesmaid or Best Man and the Groomsmen don’t have black suits…so they would have to purchase. In the end, rental is going to be more cost effective for everyone. But I am currently on the look out for rental shops that rent both tuxes and suits…luckily there are two local (the Bridesmaid or Best Man is in FL, but I figure he can hit any formal store and email me his measurments).
Also with rental, you can ensure that the shirts, ties, etc are all the exact same color.

Ours are wearing suits. Fiance didnt want the boys going out and spending a bunch of money on tuxes.. he figured everyone would have a plain black suit… of course only one of them does so the rest have to go out and buy new suits anyways.

My fiance is thin and wears a 36S jacket. It’s going to be hard enough to buy and tailor a suit for him without trying to find a tux that won’t make him look like he’s drowning!
No bridal party, so we just have to tell our dads that they don’t have to rent tuxes either.

We are having a black tie wedding so all the GMs are wearing tuxes. All of the GMs have recently gotten married and bought their own tuxes for their weddings, so we are letting them wear their own tux. A nice, custom tailored tux is so much nicer than making them rent the same men’s wearhouse tux, but that’s just my opinion.

Tux for us! Fiance is dying to wear white tie, though I really want to tone everything down to black tie (I’m not wearing a ballgown and gloves!).

Our boys and my hubby wore tuxedos but for the reception they changed into black shirts (from white) which was fun and more relaxed for them!
